We aint not in Kansas anymore

Almost everything in Dodge City we wanted to see was closed until 1:00 pm or next summer, whichever comes later.

We spent a couple of unremarkable hours in Wichita, a pretty nice city of 300,000+ with quiet neighborhoods right next to downtown. Then, after going way off the map, we are spending the night in Independence, Kansas.
